Новизна статьи заключается в выявлении факторов территориального, социально-экономического развития Владимирской губернии, повлиявших на становление строчевой вышивки стать традиционным художественным промыслом Ивановского края. В результате были сформулированы основные выводы исследования, показано становление строчевышивального художественного промысла Ивановского края. Проведен анализ традиционной строчевой вышивки от древности на территории нынешнего Ивановского края до формирования промыслов по строчке XIX–XX веков. Выявлены стилистические особенности строчевой вышивки в Ивановском крае; определена преемственность основных художественных принципов народного творчества и местных художественных традиций в строчевышивальном промысле; определено сохранение исторически сложившегося вышивального ремесла; выявлено творческое отношение к определению пути развития современного строчевышивального промысла. Valkevich Ivanovo State University (Shuya, Russia) STITCH EMBROIDERY AS A TRADITIONAL ART CRAFT OF THE IVANOVO REGION The purpose of the article is to identify a holistic picture of the identity of stitch embroidery of the Ivanovo region and the formation of artistic stitch embroidery craft. The novelty of the article is to identify the factors of territorial, socio-economic development of the Vladimir province that influenced the formation of stitch embroidery to become a traditional art craft of the Ivanovo region. As a result, the author formulates the main conclusions of the study and shows the formation of the stitch embroidery art craft of the Ivanovo region. The article analyzes traditional stitch embroidery from antiquity on the territory of the present Ivanovo region to the formation of crafts on the line of the 19th–20th centuries. The paper reveals stylistic features of stitch embroidery in the Ivanovo Region. It determines the continuity of the main artistic principles of folk art and local artistic traditions in the stitch craft. The article figures out the preservation of the historically established embroidery craft. The author reveals a creative attitude to determining the path of modern stitch craft development.
